Bioscience Spanish Honor Society Leads at World Language Competition

The Spanish Honor Society at Bioscience High School participatedin the 25th PhoenixCollege World Language Competition and brought home many awards.  Jazmine Abril won 1st place for the short story competition for 2nd year Non-native Speakers. TanzilaChowdhury won 1st place for the short story competition for 3rd year Non-native Speakers. RyanBorneman won 2nd place for the short story competition for 3rd year Non-native Speakers. StellaSandig won 2nd place for the poetrycompetition for 2nd yearNon-native Speakers. Alexus Oaxaca won 2nd place for the prosecompetition for 2nd yearNon-native Speakers. Jazmine Abril, Tanzila Chowdhury, Alicia Coberley Brandon Dueñas , Luis Gutierrez,  Jessica Melero,  Josiah Salcedo,Stella Sandig, and Amanda Trent won 2nd place for the 2nd year Native skit/play competition and KevinRoy and Clarissa Smith tied for 3rd place for the short story competition for 3rd year Non-native Speakers.
