·      Attention Students - The due date for Powder puff paperwork and applications has been moved to Wednesday, April 26. Stop by room 410 for the forms if you need them. You must attend an info meeting to participate.

·      Attention Seniors - any senior that has not purchased his/her cap and gown, that they are available in the bookstore. The have plenty of extras. They are selling them for $50 and it has to be paid cash and in full. If you have any additional questions or need to order other things please go to Jostens.com.

·      Attention Students - Please join Panthertown in A Day of Connection. We would like all students to turn off their cell phones for an entire day on Wednesday, April 26th to connect with the people and the world around them.

·      Attention sophomores - Sophomore shirts are in! If you ordered one, please stop by room 410 to pick yours up.

·      Attention Students - As a part of their senior project, students from Mrs. Gates’ and Mrs. Williams’ English classes are collecting donations of clothing, shoes, canned food, and water to give to the Save the Children Foundation, a local foundation that provides needed items to children and families here in the United States and to developing countries around the world. Several teachers on campus have a box located in their classroom where you can drop off donations or you can bring donations to room 912 or room 511. We appreciate your help!

·      Dance Company Performance - Come see the Maryvale Dance Company perform tonight at 6 pm for $4.  Tickets can be purchased ahead of time for $3.  We hope to see you there to support our dancers.

·      National Honor Society - All members participating in the Bubble Run this Saturday, April 22nd, will need to be at Maryvale, in the north parking lot, by 4:45am, we will depart at 5:00am.

·      Voracious Readers:  The discussion for The Zookeeper's Wife by Diane Ackerman, will be on Tuesday, April 25th, at 2:45pm in room 100.  See Mrs. Maxwell for the parent permission form for the field trip which will follow on Friday, April 28th.

·      Summer Youth jobs - Students 16 and up looking to work during the summer please see Ms. Burrell for an application

·      PROM 2017 – ATTENTION MARYVALE, PROM is April 29th at the Hyatt Regency Downtown. Tickets are on sale at the bookstore, today is the last day they will be $55. So get your tickets before prices go up next week. You must be cleared of all debts to purchase tickets. If you are bringing a guest that does not attend Maryvale you must fill out a guest pass. Guest passes are available in room 312. You can also win FREE TICKETS by submitting your amazing PROMPOSALS. Submit all promposals on Instagram using the hashtag #maryvalepromposal17. The deadline for all promposals is TODAY.

·      Attention Students - Permission slips for the Dia De Los Ninos/Dia De Los Libros event are due as soon as possible.  Seating is limited so turn in your permission slip immediately to room 101 so as not to miss out on this cool event. 

·      Attention JROTC - Students who left the JROTC program, and still have their uniform must return their uniform TODAY, or see a JROTC Instructor immediately.  Failure to return the uniform will result in the following:  1.  A letter of recovery will be sent to the student's parent/guardian 2. A bill will be placed against the student's account at the bookstore 3.  A JROTC Instructor will visit you during your Advisory hour."

·      Attention Seniors - CALLING ALL SENIORS, CALLING ALL SENIORS! Please look through your photos and email special pics of you and friends to maryvaleseniorclass@gmail.com – we would like to add them to the 2017 graduation slide show. Thank you!

·      Attention Maryvale Shoppers - Clothing Exchange is closed TODAY, but will be open next Friday.  Come check it out!

·      Attention Students – If you purchased Prom tickets 1 through 150 your free picture voucher is available in the bookstore. Bring the temporary voucher ticket you were given to exchange it for the real voucher you will need to show at Prom.

·      Attention all students and staff- The Black Student Union will hold a car wash tomorrow(Saturday) from 8 A.M-1 P.M. We are raising money for a trip during fall break to Texas, Louisiana and Mississippi, where we will visit 5 Historically Black Colleges. We would love for you to come out and support us.
