    AES Engineers Scholarship
    Due: Oct. 6th, 2017
    Award: Up to $5,000
    DACA Eligible
    • HS seniors and College Students
    • This award is available to high school seniors and all students attending a post secondary educational facility. You are not required to be studying Engineering to be eligible. 
     
    National YoungArts Foundation Award/Program
    Due: Oct. 13th, 2017
    Award: Up to $10,000
    • HS sophomores-seniors (ages 15-18) 
    • Master classes with arts professionals, mentoring

    College JumpStart Scholarship Program

    Due: Oct. 17th, 2017
    Award: $1,000
    • U.S. Citizen
    • Sophomore-Senior or Non-Traditional Student
    • Attends or plans to attend an accredited 2- or 4-year/vocational/trade school in the U.S.

    Horatio Alger Association State Scholarships

    Due: Oct. 25th, 2017
    Award: up to $10,000
    GPA: 2.0+
    • Be enrolled full time as a high school senior in the United States; be progressing normally toward graduation in spring/summer of 2018 with plans to enter a college in the United States no later than the fall following graduation
    • Exhibit a strong commitment to pursue and complete a bachelor's degree at an accredited non-profit public or private institution in the United States (students may start their studies at a two-year institution and then transfer to a four-year institution)
    • Demonstrate critical financial need ($55,000 or lower adjusted gross family income is required)
    • Be involved in co-curricular and community service activities

    Tobacco-Free Life Academic Scholarship
    Due: Oct. 31st, 2017
    Award: $1,000
    • DACA Eligible
    • 14 years or older​
    • High School, Undergraduate or graduate students
    • Accepted to or enrolled in a high school, college or university in the United States
    • Essay encourging others not to smoke (1,000 - 1,500 words)​​

     

    VFW Voice of Democracy Competition
    Due: Oct. 31st, 2017
    Award: up to $30,000
    • DACA Eligible
    • HS Student grades 9-12​ enrolled in high school
